Seweryn Gancarczyk
Seweryn Daniel Gancarczyk (; born 22 November 1981) is a Polish former professional footballer who played as a left-back. He currently serves as an assistant coach for Górnik Łęczna. Career Gancarczyk started to play football in his early teens, in junior teams of Podkarpacie Pustynia. After several seasons there and after a short spell at second Polish division club Hetman Zamość, Gancarczyk made his way to the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, where he joined local Arsenal Kyiv. Having also briefly performed for west Ukrainian club Volyn Lutsk, Gancarczyk was transferred to Metalist Kharkiv, where he has remained since, and has reached a position of vice-captain at the club. In 2007, he was voted the best left-back in Ukraine. During the winter of 2008 Gancarczyk had a try-out with Scottish giants Celtic FC, however due to an injury, he was unable to compete and so returned to Metalist. Dębica
Dębica (; yi, דעמביץ ''Dembitz'') is a town in southeastern Poland with 44,692 inhabitants as of December 2021. It is the capital of Dębica County. Since 1999 it has been situated in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship; it had previously been in the Tarnów Voivodeship (1975–1998). The 2009–10 Ekstraklasa was the 76th season since its establishment as the highest football league of Poland. It began on 31 July 2009 and ended on 15 May 2010. The champions were Lech Poznań. Teams Due to several non-competitive events between last and this season, the team exchange among the two highest football divisions of Poland was only partially determined by the 2008–09 league tables. ŁKS Łódź were denied a license by the Polish FA because of financial issues. ŁKS filed several appeals against this decision, but were eventually left without any success. First League 2008–09 champions Widzew Łódź were not permitted to advance by the Polish FA after their involvement in the Polish corruption scandal. Poland Ekstraklasa (), meaning "Extra Class" in Polish, named PKO Ekstraklasa since the 2019–20 season due to its sponsorship by PKO Bank Polski, is the top Polish professional league for men's association football teams.
