Super Pocket
The Super Pocket is a handheld game console developed by Hyper Mega Tech!, a brand of British company Blaze Entertainment. In addition to built-in collections of retro video games, the console features a cartridge slot and is compatible with all of Blaze's Evercade cartridges, despite not being branded as an Evercade device. The console was released on 14 November 2023. History The Super Pocket was unveiled in July 2023. That September, units were on exhibit for testing at London's WASD Gaming Expo in partnership with IGN. At launch, it was available in two versions offering distinct color schemes. One version was branded as Capcom with the inclusion of 12 built-in games, while the other included seventeen games from Taito. In addition to the built-in games, the handheld features a cartridge slot that allows it to play all Evercade cartridges. Elevator Action
is a 1983 Shooter game, shooter Platformer, platform video game developed and published by Taito for Arcade video game, arcades. The player assumes the role of a secret agent infiltrating a 30-story building from the roof, then descending to ground level via elevators and stairways. Enemy agents emerge from closed doors and shoot at the player. The goal is to collect secret documents from specially marked rooms, then exit to a waiting getaway car. It runs on the Taito SJ System arcade system. The game was a critical success and was the top-grossing game on the Japanese arcade charts for three months in late 1983. It has been ported to a variety of home systems and appeared on Taito compilations. An arcade sequel, ''Elevator Action Returns'' was released in 1994. ''1942'' is a 1984 vertically scrolling shooter video game developed and published by Capcom for Arcade video game, arcades. Designed by Yoshiki Okamoto, it was the first game in the List of World War II video games#The 194X series, ''194X'' series, and was followed by ''1943: The Battle of Midway''.
