Soul Mystique
Soul Mystique is an Australian duo of entertainers who became known in world variety theatre for their performances combining professional dancesport with a high speed quick change act. This duo is most famous for their two appearances on the television show Australia's Got Talent in 2007 (series 1) and 2012 (series 6) – both times with great success as Grand Finalists, and placing 2nd runner up in series 6. Dancesport is competitive ballroom dancing, as contrasted to social or exhibition dancing. In the case of Para dancesport, at least one of the dancers is in a wheelchair. Dancesport events are sanctioned and regulated by dancesport organizations at the national and international level, such as the World DanceSport Federation. The name was invented to help competitive ballroom dancing gain Olympic recognition. The physical demand of dancesport has been the subject of scientific research. ''Quick Change'' is a 1990 American crime comedy film directed by Howard Franklin and Bill Murray (in their directorial debuts) and written by Franklin. Australia's Got Talent
''Australia's Got Talent'' is an Australian reality television talent show. The show is based on the '' Got Talent'' series format that originated in the United Kingdom with Simon Cowell. The first six seasons aired on the Seven Network, from 2007 to 2012. In the first season the judges were Tom Burlinson, Red Symons and Dannii Minogue. The first season aired at 6:30pm on Sunday nights. After a successful run, the series was given a vote of confidence as Seven moved the show to a more competitive Tuesday night timeslot. The second season aired from 29 April 2008. Burlinson and Symons did not return for season four and were replaced by Kyle Sandilands and Brian McFadden. For season seven in 2013 the show moved to the Nine Network. Dawn French, Geri Halliwell and Timomatic who is the additional fourth judge joined the panel as replacements for McFadden and Minogue. ''Australia's Got Talent'' is an Australian reality television show, based on the original UK series, to find new talent. The sixth season aired on the Seven Network from 16 April 2012 until 25 July 2012. Dannii Minogue, Brian McFadden and Kyle Sandilands returned as judges, as well as Grant Denyer as host. The auditions took place from October–December 2011, and the filming of the show took place from February–March 2012. Todd McKenney was a guest judge at the Melbourne auditions, in the absence of Sandilands, and the second show of the finals showdown, in the absence of McFadden. This was Minogue and McFadden's final series as judges, as they were replaced by Dawn French, Geri Halliwell and season 5 contestant Timomatic in season 7.
