Serhiy Nadal
Serhiy Vitaliiovych Nadal (; born 1 January 1975) is a Ukrainian politician. He is the mayor of Ternopil and head of Ternopil urban hromada in western Ukraine. A member of the Svoboda party, Nadal has been mayor since 2010. Nadal's 2010 election was the first mayoral election won by Svoboda. Biography Serhiy Nadal was born on January 1, 1975, in the city of Ternopil. In 1991, he graduated from Ternopil Secondary School No. 17. From 1991, he studied at the Ternopil Commercial Institute, graduating in 1995 with a degree in economics and production management. In 1994, while still a student, he began working at the local tax office. He started as a tax inspector and became the head of a department at the State Tax Administration, a position he held until 2005. He also led a division from 2005 to 2007. Yevhen Mykhailovych Konovalets (; 14 June 1891 – 23 May 1938) was a Ukrainian military commander and political leader of the Ukrainian nationalist movement. A veteran of the First World War and the Ukrainian War of Independence, he is best known as one of the founding members and leaders of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) from its foundation in 1929 to his assassination in 1938. Early life and education Konovalets was born 14 June 1891 in the village of Zashkiv in Austro-Hungarian Galicia; today the village is in Lviv Raion, Lviv Oblast, Ukraine.
