Sequanna Taylor
Sequanna Taylor (born July 1979) is an American educator, community organizer, and Democratic politician from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing Wisconsin's 11th Assembly district since 2025. She is also currently a member of the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors, since 2016, and a former member of the board of the Milwaukee Public Schools. Biography Sequanna Taylor was born, raised, and has lived most of her life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She grew up in the Amani neighborhood, on Milwaukee's northwest side. She was the first member of her family to graduate from high school and college. She worked for 15 years in the Milwaukee Public Schools as a coordinator for the parents of special needs students. She attended college at night while working and raising her children, earning her associate's degree from Concordia University Wisconsin, and then her bachelor's degree from Cardinal Stritch University. Wisconsin's 11th Assembly District
The 11th Assembly district of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district is entirely contained within north-central Milwaukee County. It comprises parts of the north side of the city of Milwaukee, including the Thurston Woods, Brynwood, Graceland, and Old North Milwaukee. It also contains the Havenwoods State Forest. The district is represented by Democrat Sequanna Taylor, since 2025. Trinity International University
Trinity International University (TIU) is an evangelical Christian university headquartered in Bannockburn, Illinois. It comprises Trinity College, a theological seminary (Trinity Evangelical Divinity School), and a law school ( Trinity Law School which is located in Santa Ana, California). The university also maintains campuses in North Lauderdale, Florida and Miami, Florida. TIU is the only university affiliated with Evangelical Free Church of America in the United States and enrolls 1,242 students. On February 17, 2023, TIU announced it was moving the undergraduate program to online modalities only and closed the residential campus at the end of the Spring 2023 semester.
