Sampath Perera (born 27 July 1982) is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He made his List A debut on 14 November 2007, for Saracens Sports Club in the 2007–08 Premier Limited Overs Tournament. He made his first-class debut on 5 December 2008, for Singha Sports Club in Tier B of the 2008–09 Premier League Tournament. The 2019–20 SLC Twenty20 Tournament was a Twenty20 cricket tournament that was held in Sri Lanka. It was played between twenty-six domestic teams in Sri Lanka, with the tournament running from 4 to 21 January 2020. Moors Sports Club were the defending champions. Fast bowling (also referred to as pace bowling) is one of two main approaches to bowling in the sport of cricket, the other being spin bowling. Practitioners of pace bowling are usually known as ''fast'' bowlers, ''quicks'', or ''pacemen''.
