Robert Bothwell
Robert Selkirk Bothwell (born 1944) is a Canadian professor of Canadian history. Bothwell is considered to be the foremost scholar on Canadian Cold War participation, as well as a frequently published author. Life and career Bothwell was born in Ottawa, Ontario, on 17 August 1944. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Toronto and his Doctor of Philosophy degree at Harvard University. Veronica Jane Strong-Boag (born 1947 in Prestwick, Scotland) is a Canadian historian specializing in the history of women and children in Canada. She is a Professor Emerita at the University of British Columbia, where she was Professor of Women's History and the founding Director of the Centre for Women’s and Gender Studies.
