Randy Hultgren
Randall Mark Hultgren (; born March 1, 1966) is an American politician who served as the U.S. representative for from 2011 to 2019. He is a member of the Republican Party. Hultgren represented the 48th district Senate seat in the Illinois General Assembly from 2007 to 2011. The 48th Senate District includes parts of DuPage, Kane, and Will counties and all or part of Aurora, Batavia, Geneva, Naperville, North Aurora, Warrenville, West Chicago, Wheaton, and Winfield. In his 2018 reelection campaign, Hultgren was defeated by Democratic nominee Lauren Underwood. Wheaton Academy (WA) is a private, Christian, co-educational high school in West Chicago, Illinois, which was established as part of the Illinois Institute by a group of evangelical abolitionists in 1853. Winfield is an incorporated village located in Milton and Winfield Townships, DuPage County, Illinois, United States. Wheaton is a suburban city in Milton and Winfield Townships and is the county seat of DuPage County, Illinois. It is located approximately west of Chicago. Warrenville is a near west suburb in DuPage County, Illinois, United States. At the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 13,140, which was estimated to have increased to 13,174 by July 2019. It is a part of the Chicago metropolitan area and the Illinois Technology and Research Corridor. History Warrenville was founded in 1833 when Julius Warren and his family moved west from New York seeking a fresh start from a failing gristmill and distillery. Daniel Warren, Julius' father, claimed land at what is now McDowell Woods, and Julius claimed land at what is now the Warrenville Grove Forest Preserve.
