RAM (musician)
Ram Boon, better known by his stage name RAM, (born 2 March 1974) is a Dutch trance producer and DJ. Early life RAM was born and raised in Amsterdam. He notes that his first introduction to electronic music and rave culture was in 1989 when he attended a show with some friends. RAM cites Jean-Michel Jarre as a core influence in his material. scroll down Career RAM first began DJing in clubs around Amsterdam in 1995. He began producing professionally alongside Bas Abels, forming the hard trance DJ duo Bas & Ram in the 2000s. After over a decade of working together, RAM, citing the fact that the two artists had begun to drift apart personally and musically, began his solo career in 2009. ''A State of Trance'' (often abbreviated as ASOT) is a Dutch trance radio show hosted by Armin van Buuren and co-producer Ruben de Ronde that first aired in June 2001. It is aired weekly every Thursday at 20:00 (CET) and 14:00 (EST). As of January 2021, ASOT is broadcast to more than 150 stations in 84 countries, and its listener count surpassed 40 million. Natalie Gioia is an electronic music vocalist and songwriter, based in Kyiv, Ukraine. At the age of 16, Natalie decided to try herself as a vocalist. Later, when she reached 20, she was invited as a solo singer to Japan's tour with show ballet Bourgeois. Tunisia was the next step in her career. Touring in the African country, Natalie met Italian impresario Flavio Demichelis, who invited her to collaborate in Italy. Roger Shah (; born 29 November 1972), also known as DJ Shah and Sunlounger, is a German electronic music composer and producer. Biography History Roger Shah was born in Esslingen in West Germany to a German mother and a Pakistani father. His brother Pedro del Mar (real name Patrick Shah), also a trance DJ, hosts a bi-weekly vocal trance show called Mellomania. Roger first began to hit his production stride in his native country in 1999 putting out the tracks "Claps", "The Mission" and "Tides of Time". Tomasz Popielarski, better known as Arctic Moon (born ) is a Polish DJ and music producer who hails from Szczecin, Poland. In 2012 and in 2013, he ranked in the DJ Mag top 200 DJs in the world. Armin van Buuren used Arctic Moon's remixed track "Coming Home" for the remix version of the album titled "Intense - The More Intense Edition." Biography Thomas Popielarski started producing music in late 2003 and in 2004, he began to produce dance/hard dance music under the alias of East-NRG System. Sanne Boomhouwer (born 8 April 1984 in Aalsmeer, Netherlands), who performs as Susana, is a Dutch trance music vocalist, songwriter and radio host. Early years Boomhouwer grew up in the Amsterdam suburb of Aalsmeer and took classical singing lessons in her youth. She attended the De Brug primary school. Boomhouwer was inspired to become a songwriter after hearing Alanis Morissette's ''Jagged Little Pill''; other inspirations include Mariah Carey and Tori Amos.
