Paul Fenech
Paul Fenech (born 21 November 1972) is an Australian filmmaker, film and television actor, director, producer and writer. He is best known for writing, directing, producing and starring in the television series ''Pizza'', ''Swift and Shift Couriers'', '' Housos,'' '' Bogan Hunters,'' Fat Pizza: Back in Business and Housos Vs. Virus: The Lockdown, as well as the motion pictures ''Fat Pizza'' (2003), '' Housos vs. Authority'' (2012), '' Fat Pizza vs. Housos'' (2014) and ''Dumb Criminals: The Movie'' (2015). Career Early in his career, Fenech directed ''More Than Legends'', a documentary highlighting Aboriginal culture through the eyes of elders from the Nyungar ( W.A.), Arrernte ( N.T.) and Tiwi ( N.T.) groups. Tiwi People
The Tiwi people (or Tunuvivi) are one of the many Aboriginal groups of Australia. Nearly 2,000 Tiwi people live on Bathurst and Melville Islands, which make up the Tiwi Islands, lying about from Darwin. The Tiwi language is a language isolate, with no apparent link to the languages of Arnhem Land on the Australian mainland. Their society is based on matrilineal descent, and marriage plays a very important part in many aspects of their lives. Art and music form an intrinsic part of their societal and spiritual rituals. TV Tonight is an Australian-based website which features reviews, news and programming information related to television in Australia as well as OzTAM ratings information. The site was started by television critic David Knox in 2007 after listeners of his radio programs asked him for information they had missed. 7mate is an Australian free-to-air digital television multichannel, which was launched by the Seven Network on 25 September 2010. The channel contains sport and regular programs aimed primarily to a male audience, with programming drawn from a combination of new shows, American network shows and other shows previously aired on its sister channels Seven, 7two and 7flix. Due to the rebroadcast of 7HD on 10 May 2016, 7mate was reduced to a standard definition broadcast in Melbourne and Adelaide.
