Petete Y Trapito
''Trapito'' is a 1975 Argentine comedy-drama adventure animated film directed by Manuel García Ferré. Plot During a stormy night, the sparrow Salapin is about to drown in a mud pool due to exhaustion. Next to the mud pool hangs Trapito, a scarecrow, on his frame. Trapito is a living scarecrow. He picks up Salapin and puts him in his inside pocket where it is dry and warm. The next morning, Trapito admits he is lonely and confused. Salapin takes him to see the Patriarch of the Birds (a wise old owl), who deduces that Trapito lacks imagination since he has been standing in a field all his life. The Patriarch advises him and Salapin to see the world. They meet Larguirucho, a friendly but clumsy farmer mouse with many animals, mainly his pigs (a mother and her son). Manuel García Ferré
Manuel García Ferré (8 October 1929 – 28 March 2013) was a Spanish Argentine animation director and cartoonist. Biography García Ferré was born in Almería, Spain, in 1929. He arrived in Argentina in 1947, and worked for advertising agencies while studying architecture. In 1952 his character Pi Pío was accepted and published by the important magazine ''Billiken''. In 1964 he created '' Anteojito'', a children's magazine which at its height in the 1970s, had a circulation of 300,000 copies. As director of his own animation studio, García Ferré created numerous animated TV series and films. The most influential of these was ''Hijitus'', aired between 1967 and 1974 on Channel 13. The first animated television series in Argentina, ''Hijitus'' was also aired elsewhere in the region and became the most successful television series of its kind in Latin America. Adventure Film
The adventure film is a broad genre of film. Some early genre studies found it no different than the Western film or argued that adventure could encompass all Hollywood genres. Commonality was found among historians Brian Taves and Ian Cameron in that the genre required a setting that was both remote in time and space to the film audience and that it contained a positive hero who tries to make right in their world. Some critics such as Taves limit the genre to naturalistic settings, while Yvonne Tasker found that would limit films such as '' Raiders of the Lost Ark'' (1981) from the genre. Topo Gigio
Topo Gigio () is a fictional anthropomorphic mouse, originally the lead character of a children's puppet show on Italian television in the early 1960s. The character, created in 1958 by artist Maria Perego, her husband Federico Caldura and fellow artist Guido Stagnaro, debuted on RAI in 1959 and has been customarily voiced by actor Giuseppe "Peppino" Mazzullo and later Davide Garbolino.
