Pefki Gorge
Pefki (, , meaning "pine", before 1959: Μαγκουφάνα ''Magkoufana'' ) is a town and a suburb in the northeastern part of the Athens agglomeration, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform, it is part of the municipality Lykovrysi-Pefki, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit and is part of North Athens regional unit. According to the 2021 population census, Pefki has 21,293 residents. Geography Pefki is situated northeast of Athens city centre. The municipal unit has an area of 2.176 km2. The built-up area of Pefki is continuous with those of the neighbouring suburbs Irakleio, Lykovrysi, Kifisia and Marousi. Pefki consists of two areas: Ano Pefki and Kato Pefki. Pefki is served by Athens Metro Line 1 and by several bus routes. The nearest motorway is the A6, south of Pefki. Line 1 (Athens Metro)
Line 1 is the oldest of the three lines of the Athens Metro, running from to . The Athens metro#Piraeus–Kifissia Railway, Athens-Piraeus Railway Company (SAP S.A.) first opened the line, between and , on 27 February 1869. Strovolos (; ; ) is a municipality in the Nicosia district, of Cyprus. It is a part of the Nicosia urban area. With a population of 71,123, it is the second most populated municipality in Cyprus, after Limassol, and the most populated municipality in the Nicosia District. It was established in 1986. Krnov (; , or ''Krnów'') is a town in Bruntál District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 23,000 inhabitants. Cori, Lazio
Cori (ancient Cora) is a city and ''comune'' in the province of Latina, in the Lazio region of central Italy. History Cora was well developed in the age of the expansion of Rome (7th-6th century BC). It is recorded as being part of the Latin League. According to Livy, in 503 BC it sought unsuccessfully to revolt against the Roman Republic, together with Suessa Pometia, and with the assistance of the Aurunci. By 495 BC Cora and Pometia are said by Livy to have been Volscian towns. Upon hearing of Volscian attempts to foment war, the Roman army marched against the Volsci, and in order to avoid war the Volsci offered three hundred children of the leading men of Cora and Suessa Pometia as hostages.
