Pakistan Naval Station Siddique, known as PNS Siddique () formerly known as Naval Air Station, Turbat, is a naval air station and a military airport located in Turbat, Turbat city of Makran, Balochistan. It is one of four active Pakistan Naval Air Arm, Naval Air Arm bases (others are PNS Mehran, PNS Makran, PNS Ahsan, Naval Air Station Ormara) and currently the second largest naval air station after PNS Mehran. Turbat International Airport (Balochi language, Balochi: تُربت میان اُستمانی بالی پٹ ) is located at Turbat, Balochistan (Pakistan), Balochistan, Pakistan. Pakistan Navy Station Makran, (reporting name: PNS Makran formerly known as Coastal Naval Air Station, Pasni, is a naval air station and a military airport located in the Coastal city of Pasni, Balochistan. PNS Mehran Attack
The PNS Mehran attack was an attack/shooting by Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Al Qaeda which took place on 22 May 2011, at PNS Mehran, the headquarters of the Pakistan Navy's Naval Air Arm and the most populous Pakistani military installation, located near the PAF's Faisal Air Force Base of Karachi, Sindh. In the course of the event, 15 attackers killed 18 military personnel and wounded 16 in a sophisticated terrorist attack which lasted 16 hours. Two American-built P-3C Orion surveillance aircraft were destroyed. According to the United States and Western intelligence sources, the attack was far more dangerous than the 2009 Pakistan Army General Headquarters attack, and was better planned and more rehearsed than the previous attack. The Lockheed P-3 Orion is a four-engined, turboprop Anti-submarine warfare, anti-submarine and maritime patrol aircraft, maritime surveillance aircraft developed for the United States Navy and introduced in the 1960s. Asif Sandila
Mohammad Asif Sandila (Urdu: ; born: 1954), is a retired four-star admiral in the Pakistan Navy who was the 19th Chief of Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy. Prior to this command appointment, Sandila briefly tenured as the Vice Chief Naval Staff in the Pakistan Navy which he assumed in 2010. Panjgur District
Panjgur (, ) is a district in the western part of Balochistan province of Pakistan. Panjgur was one of three tehsils of Makran District until 1 July 1977, when the district became a part of Makran Division. The other two districts of Makran Division are Kech (Turbat) and Gwadar. Chitkan is the district headquarter. Panjgur has sixteen (16) Union Councils. Pasni (), is a city and a fishing port in Gwadar District, Balochistan, Pakistan. It is located on the Makran coast on Arabian Sea about from Karachi. Administratively, Pasni is the headquarters of Pasni Tehsil, a sub-division of Gwadar District. Astola Island lies ESE of Pasni, in the Arabian Sea. Dalbandin (Urdu and ) is a city and the headquarter of Chagai district in Pakistan's Balochistan province, near the Iran and Afghanistan border. The city has a population of 16,319, and the remainder of the entire Dalbandin Tehsil has a population of 110,503. It is located at an altitude of 843 m (2769 ft).
