Nikolaj Jacobsen
Nikolaj Bredahl Jacobsen (born 22 November 1971) is a Danish retired handball player and current coach of the Danish national team. He was named World Coach of the Year (male teams) in 2021 by IHF. As a coach, Jacobsen won the 2013 Danish Handball League with Aalborg Håndbold, and led Rhein-Neckar Löwen to back-to-back German Handball-Bundesliga championships in the 2016 and 2017 season. He is the first Danish manager to win the German Bundesliga. During his playing career, Jacobsen predominantly played as a left wingman, and most prominently represented Danish team GOG Håndbold and German team THW Kiel. He won three Danish Handball League championships with GOG, as well as three Handball-Bundesliga championships and two European EHF Cup titles with Kiel. Viborg (), a city in central Jutland, Denmark, is the capital of both Viborg municipality and Region Midtjylland. The EHF European League is an annual men's handball club competition organised by the European Handball Federation (EHF) since 1981. It is the second-tier competition of European club handball, ranking only below the EHF Champions League. Previously called the EHF Cup, the competition will be known as the EHF European League from the season 2020–21. Portuguese side Benfica are the current holders. Stefan Lövgren
Lars Stefan Lövgren (born 21 December 1970) is a Swedish former handball player. He was born in Gothenburg. Making his debut in the national team in 1993, he played a total of 268 games and scored 1138 goals. During his adult career he played for Redbergslids IK (in Gothenburg), and German sides TV Niederwürzbach and Champions League- and Bundesliga-winning team THW Kiel. He was the captain of the national team during the period 1996–2006 and for THW Kiel 2001–2009. He is a five-time Swedish league champion with Redbergslid, and a seven-time Bundesliga champion with THW. He won the German cup four times, and he helped lead Kiel to the European Champions League title in 2007 (being a finalist in 2000, 2008 and 2009). Staffan Olsson
Erik Staffan Olsson (born 26 March 1964) is a Swedish handball coach and former player. Olsson, who always played with no 13, was a left-handed right backcourt player with one of the most feared shots of all the elite players. Later in his career he won praise for his great playmaking skills. From September 2022 he is the head coach of the Netherlands' men’s national team. Player career Olsson was born in Uppsala. He started his career, at the age of 10, in the Swedish team Skånela. Other clubs are Huttenberg, Niederwurzbach, HK Cliff, THW Kiel and Hammarby. Zvonimir Serdarušić
Zvonimir Serdarušić (; born 2 September 1950) is a Croatian former professional handball coach and player who competed in the 1976 Summer Olympics for Yugoslavia. In May 1998, he also acquired German citizenship. Career Yugoslavia Serdarušić began his handball career in RK Velež from Mostar. After three seasons he moved to RK Bosna Sarajevo. In two seasons with Bosna Sarajevo he moved up from the third league to the first. In 1973 Serdarušić moved to Partizan Bjelovar. He stayed at the club for seven years winning the First League twice in 1977 and 1979, and the Cup once in 1977. In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Leagues that use promotion and relegation systems are often called open leagues. In a system of promotion and relegation, the best-ranked team(s) in the lower division are ''promoted'' to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season.
