Nick Martini
Nicholas Scott Martini (born June 27, 1990) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Cincinnati Reds organization. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Oakland Athletics, San Diego Padres, and Chicago Cubs, and in the KBO League for the NC Dinos. Career Amateur Martini is from Crystal Lake, Illinois, and grew up as a fan of the Chicago Cubs. Nick attended Hannah Beardsley middle school He graduated from Prairie Ridge High School in Crystal Lake in 2008; Martini attended Kansas State University where he played college baseball for the Kansas State Wildcats. In 2010, Martini won the Big 12 Conference's Baseball Player of the Year Award, sharing the honor with Aaron Senne. After the 2010 season, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Nashville Sounds
The Nashville Sounds are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. They are located in Nashville, Tennessee, and are named for the city's association with the music industry, specifically the "Nashville sound", a subgenre of country music which originated in the city and became popular in the mid-1950s. The team plays their home games at First Horizon Park, which opened in 2015 on the site of the historic Sulphur Dell ballpark. The 2011 Major League Baseball draft was held from June 6 through June 8, 2011, from Studio 42 of the MLB Network in Secaucus, New Jersey. Falmouth Commodores
The Falmouth Commodores are a collegiate summer baseball team based in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The team is a member of the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL) and plays in the league's West Division. The Commodores play their home games at Arnie Allen Diamond at Guv Fuller Field in Falmouth. The Commodores most recently won the CCBL championship in 1980 when they defeated the Chatham A's in the championship series. Collegiate Summer Baseball
Collegiate summer baseball leagues are amateur baseball leagues in the United States and Canada featuring players who have attended at least one year of college and have at least one year of athletic eligibility remaining. Generally, they operate from early June to early August. In contrast to college baseball, which allow aluminum or other composite baseball bats, players in these leagues use only wooden bats, hence the common nickname of these leagues as "wood-bat leagues". Collegiate summer leagues allow college baseball players the ability to compete using professional rules and equipment, giving them experience and allowing professional scouts the opportunity to observe players under such conditions. Aaron Senne
Aaron J. Senne (born November 5, 1987) is a retired professional baseball player who was part of the Miami Marlins organization from 2010 to 2013. He was the Marlins' 10th-round pick in the 2010 Major League Baseball draft. Amateur career Senne attended Mayo High School in Rochester, Minnesota where he batted .505 with 28 home runs over his career. Senne also went 25–7 as a starting pitcher with a 1.62 ERA and 214 strikeouts. Senne was a three-time All-Conference, All-Region, and All-State selection.
