Nate Gustafson
Nate "Gus" Gustafson (born 1995) is an American information technology professional and Republican politician from Winnebago County, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing Wisconsin's 55th Assembly district since January 2023. He is also currently a member of the Winnebago County board of supervisors. Biography Nate Gustafson was born in Appleton, Wisconsin, and raised in the village of Fox Crossing, Wisconsin (formerly the town of Menasha). He attended public schools in the Neenah Joint School District, and went on to attend University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, Fox Cities Campus. He ultimately received his associate's degree in cybersecurity from the Fox Valley Technical College in 2018. He has worked for a number of companies in northern Winnebago County, and is now working as an Epic analyst at NOVO Health Technology Group. The 55th Assembly District of the Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in east-central Wisconsin, the district comprises most of the northern quarter of Winnebago County and part of southern Outagamie County. It includes all of the city of Neenah and western parts of the city of Appleton, as well as the village of Fox Crossing. Elijah Behnke
Elijah Behnke (born February 15, 1983) is an American small business owner and Republican politician. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, having won an April 2021 special election in the 89th Assembly district. Biography Behnke was born in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, and raised on his parents' nearby farm. He worked on the farm through his childhood and graduated from Oconto High School in 2001. He went on to attend bible college in northeast Georgia. In 2006, he returned to Wisconsin and started working for his mother's cleaning business. After a year, he started his own cleaning business, Eschalon Cleaning LLC. In addition to his cleaning business, Behnke operates a hobby farm and is a ministry leader in his church. 2022 Wisconsin State Assembly Election
The Wisconsin State Assembly elections of 2022 were held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. All 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly were up for election. This was the first election to take place after redistricting following the 2020 United States census. Before the election, 61 Assembly seats were held by Republicans and 38 seats were held by Democrats. The primary election was held on August 9, 2022. Wisconsin Elections Commission
The Wisconsin Elections Commission is a bipartisan regulatory agency of the State of Wisconsin established to administer and enforce election laws in the state. The Wisconsin Elections Commission was established by a 2015 act of the Wisconsin Legislature which also established the Wisconsin Ethics Commission to administer campaign finance, ethics, and lobbying laws. The two commissions began operation on June 30, 2016, replacing the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board (GAB), which was abolished. The Government Accountability Board had been established in 2008 to replace the Wisconsin Elections Board and Wisconsin Ethics Board.
