Leila "Lennard" McKinnon (born 28 September 1972) is an Australian journalist and television presenter. She is a reporter and fill in presenter for '' Nine News'' and '' A Current Affair''. She is currently co-hosting '' Australian Ninja Warrior'' and has previously been co-host of ''Weekend Today''. She subjected Corey Worthington to a weak interrogation in 2008. Personal life McKinnon was born in Iran to an English mother and a New Zealand father, while her father was working as service manager to the late Shah of Iran's fleet of vehicles. She grew up in Brisbane, where she attended MacGregor State High School. In 2012, McKinnon gave birth to her first child. McKinnon's second child was born in 2014. Dr Margaret Tobin (1952 – 14 October 2002) was a psychiatrist and leader of Australian mental health services reform. She was the victim of a murder committed by Eric Gassy, a former psychiatrist whom she had played a role in removing from medical practice some years prior. ''Crime Investigation Australia'' is an Australian true-crime series that first premiered on pay TV Foxtel's Crime & Investigation Network in August 2005. The series was also rebroadcast on Free to air Nine Network, and made its debut there on 14 August 2007. The original host of the series was Steve Liebmann and is currently on Channel 7 with host Matt Doran. Production The series was produced by Graham McNeice who resides in Moore Park, New South Wales and is director of Shadow Productions. In a 2008 interview, McNeice said the impetus for the series was to provide an element of local content to a channel (Foxtel) that is dominated by American and European crime stories. ''Murder Uncovered'' is an Australian true-crime series that first screened on the Seven Network on 8 February 2017 hosted by Michael Usher. This investigative series reopens infamous cases of killings and crimes in Australian criminal history. Broadcast The third episode of ''Murder Uncovered'', titled "Two Weddings and 29 Funerals", was scheduled to be aired on 22 February 2017, but was indefinitely pulled due to legal reasons. The timeslot intended for the episode was instead used to broadcast a short message by Michael Usher explaining the schedule change, followed by an episode of '' Bride & Prejudice''. It was later rescheduled to air on 20 March, but was rescheduled again to air on Monday, 27 March.
