Modestep
Modestep is a dubstep and electronic rock band from London consisting of Josh Friend. Their debut album ''Evolution Theory'' was released on 11 February 2013, including its five singles: " Feel Good", " Sunlight", " To The Stars", " Show Me a Sign" and "Another Day". Modestep's second album, '' London Road'', was released on 25 May 2015, marking the band's first album featuring Lundy and Deek as members. Between 2017 and March 2019, the band released four singles on record label Monstercat and three EPs on Disciple Records. ''Evolution Theory'' is the debut studio album by British dubstep and rock band Modestep. The album was released on 11 February 2013 through A&M Records. The album charted at number 23 on the UK Albums Chart and number one on the UK Dance Albums Chart. The group performed on a headline UK tour of the same name from 2–17 February 2013, supported by album collaborators Document One and Koven. The track "Freedom" was due to be titled "We Will Not Fall" and feature vocals from Foreign Beggars, but the group withdrew from the track and the dub was renamed. Monstercat
Monstercat (formerly known as Monstercat Media) is a Canadian independent electronic music record label based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Founded in 2011 by Mike Darlington and Ari Paunonen, the label released music on a tri-weekly basis until 2018, when this was changed to four releases a week. This would later be changed to six releases a week in 2021. Beginning with the release of its first compilation album, ''Monstercat 001 – Launch Week'', the label releases regular compilation albums featuring music from various artists.
