Minoan Lines
Minoan Lines is one of the largest passenger ferry companies in Europe, and one of the dominant passenger ferry companies in Greece, sailing between Piraeus and Crete and in the Adriatic Sea, between Patras and various Italian ports. The company was founded in May 1972. Since 2008 Grimaldi's Compagnia di Navigazione SpA owns and controls 95.9 of the stock of Minoan Lines. Moby Lines
Moby Lines (Moby Lines S.p.A.) is an Italian shipping company that operates ferries and cruiseferries between the Italian or French mainland and the islands of Elba, Sardinia and Corsica. The company was founded in 1959 under the name Navigazione Arcipelago Maddalenino (NAVARMA for short). In 2006 Moby Lines purchased Lloyd Sardegna. The company is known for using Warner Bros. Looney Tunes characters as the external livery of its ships. Notable events include the ''Moby Prince'' disaster in 1991, which resulted in the death of 140 people. HSC Santorini Palace
HSC ''Santorini Palace'' (ex ''Highspeed 7, Highspeed 5'') is an 85m high speed catamaran operated by Minoan Lines. History The vessel was built as ''Highspeed 5'' by Austal at Henderson, Australia in 2005, on order by Greek ferry operator Hellenic Seaways. She entered service with Hellenic Seaways in July 2005, initially sailing between Piraeus and Cyclades and in later years between Heraklion and central Cyclades. In 2016, after being repaired due to fire, she was renamed ''Highspeed 7''.
