Maqsad
''Maqsad'' () is a 1984 Indian Hindi-language action film, produced by D. Rama Naidu under the Suresh Productions banner and directed by K. Bapaiah. The film stars Jeetendra, Rajesh Khanna, Sridevi, Jaya Prada with music composed by Bappi Lahiri. Shatrughan Sinha, Waheeda Rehman, Prem Chopra, Ranjeet, Shakti Kapoor, Kader Khan, Amjad Khan, Shreeram Lagoo are featured in supporting roles. Bappi Aparesh Lahiri (born Alokesh Aparesh Lahiri; 27 November 1952 – 15 February 2022), also known as Bappi Da was an Indian singer, composer and record producer. He popularised the use of synthesised disco music in Indian music industry and sang some of his own compositions. He was popular in the 1980s and 1990s with filmi soundtracks. As an actor, he appeared in over 300 Bollywood films after his debut film in the 1973 film '' Daag'', starring Rajesh Khanna, in which he acted as a prosecuting attorney.
