MVA is a transportation, planning and management consultant established in Asia since the 1970s. Headquartered in Hong Kong, it operates in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Thailand, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, Australia and New Zealand. It is part of the SYSTRA group. Its head office is in the Genesis Building in Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong Island. History MVA started in 1968 as " Alan M. The term director is a title given to the senior management staff of businesses and other large organizations. Greater London Council
The Greater London Council (GLC) was the top-tier local government administrative body for Greater London from 1965 to 1986. It replaced the earlier London County Council (LCC) which had covered a much smaller area. The GLC was dissolved in 1986 by the Local Government Act 1985 and its powers were devolved to the London boroughs and other entities. A new administrative body, known as the Greater London Authority (GLA), was established in 2000. Creation The GLC was established by the London Government Act 1963, which sought to create a new body covering more of London rather than just the inner part of the conurbation, additionally including and empowering newly created London boroughs within the overall administrative structure. Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) is a university in Ho Man Tin, Hong Kong. Established as the Open Learning Institute of Hong Kong by the Hong Kong government in 1989, HKMU now consists of five schools, namely the School of Arts and Social Sciences, Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration, School of Education and Languages, School of Nursing and Health Studies, and the School of Science and Technology. West Kowloon Bamboo Theatre is one of the flagship programmes of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA). Hong Kong Children's Hospital () is the first children hospital in Hong Kong's public healthcare system, located in Kowloon City, Hong Kong. Located at the south apron of the former Kai Tak Airport, the hospital has 468 beds for inpatients and day-patients, providing mainly tertiary services for complex and rare paediatric cases. Funded by the Hong Kong Government, construction of the HK$13 billion hospital began in August 2013. The hospital treats patients with a referral up to 19 years of age. Tai Kwun, or the Former Central Police Station Compound (CPS Compound) includes three declared monuments in Central, Hong Kong: the former Central Police Station, the Former Central Magistracy, and the Victoria Prison.
