Maycee Bell
Maycee Nicole Bell (born September 18, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for the North Carolina Courage of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She played college soccer for the North Carolina Tar Heels, where she was named All- ACC four times. She was selected by NJ/NY Gotham FC in the first round of the 2024 NWSL Draft. She represented the United States at the youth international level. Early life and college career Bell was born in Wichita, Kansas, to former college basketball players Brett and Kristy Bell, and has five younger siblings. She began playing soccer as a forward but was converted to center back at her first youth national team training camp in 2014. Gotham Football Club is an American professional Association football, soccer team based in the New York metropolitan area that competes in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Founded in 2006 as Jersey Sky Blue, the team was known as Sky Blue FC from 2008 until 2020, and as NJ/NY Gotham FC from 2021 to 2024. Rebecca Elizabeth Sauerbrunn (born June 6, 1985) is an American former professional association football, soccer player who played as a center back. She co-captained the United States women's national soccer team, United States national team with Carli Lloyd from 2016 to 2018 and was the captain of the team from 2021 to 2023. Sauerbrunn played college soccer for the Virginia Cavaliers women's soccer, Virginia Cavaliers before starting her professional career with the Washington Freedom (soccer), Washington Freedom in Women's Professional Soccer in 2010. After the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) formed in 2013, Sauerbrunn led FC Kansas City to two of the league's first three NWSL Championship, championships. 2019 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament
The 2019 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament (also known as the 2019 Women's College Cup) was the 38th annual single-elimination tournament to determine the national champion of NCAA Division I women's collegiate soccer. The semifinals and championship game were played at Avaya Stadium in San Jose, California from December 6–8, 2019 while the preceding rounds were played at various sites across the country during November 2019. 2019 ACC Women's Soccer Tournament
The 2019 Atlantic Coast Conference women's soccer tournament was the 32nd edition of the ACC Women's Soccer Tournament. The tournament decided the Atlantic Coast Conference champion and guaranteed representative into the 2019 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament. The semifinals and final were played at Sahlen's Stadium in Cary, NC. The defending champions were the Florida State Seminoles. The Seminoles fell in their title defense in the semifinals, losing to Virginia. North Carolina beat Virginia in the final, 2–1, to claim their twenty-second ACC title. It was coach Anson Dorrance's twenty-second title as well. Qualification The top eight teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference earned a berth into the ACC Tournament. North Carolina FC Youth (NCFC Youth) is an American soccer club and eponymous league based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and serving the greater Research Triangle. It is the largest youth-to-professional soccer club in the country. Club NCFC Youth was founded as Capital Area Soccer League (CASL) in 1974 as a not-for-profit organization and provides recreational and competitive programs for youth in the greater Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill metropolitan area. The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) is a national youth soccer developmental league in the United States. It was founded in 2009 as a girls' league and added a boys' league in 2017. Competition format The ECNL is divided by age groups from U-13 through U-19, and into nine (girls') or ten (boys') regional conferences of nine to 16 clubs. Clubs play regular season matches within their conferences, and top teams and wildcards can qualify for a post-season national round-robin champions' league competition.
