Marcus Deshawn Allen (born August 7, 1996) is an American former professional American football, football linebacker. He played college football at Penn State Nittany Lions football, Penn State. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Early life Allen attended Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, where he was a three-year letterman (sports), letterman. He recorded just over 150 tackled gridiron, tackles and four interceptions over his four years in high school football, high school. He was rated a four-star recruit by Scout.com, Scout and 247Sports and a three-star prospect by ESPN and Rivals.com, Rivals. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and typically line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and so back up the defensive linemen. They play closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary). A fumble in gridiron football occurs when a player who has possession and control of the ball loses it before being downed (tackled), scoring, or going out of bounds. By rule, it is any act other than passing, kicking, punting, or successful handing that results in loss of ball possession by a player. Brandon JaMarr Bell (born January 9, 1995) is an American former professional football linebacker. He played college football at Penn State. Early life Bell attended Oakcrest High School in New Jersey. He played running back and linebacker for the football team. College career Freshman year During his first year at Penn State he played in seven games with twenty-three total tackles, fourteen solo tackles. In his first game as a Nittany Lion he recorded two tackles one of them a solo tackle in a 45–7 win over Eastern Michigan. Qb Sack
In gridiron football, a sack occurs when the quarterback (or another offensive player acting as a passer) is tackled behind the line of scrimmage before throwing a forward pass, when the quarterback is tackled behind the line of scrimmage in the " pocket" and without clear intent, or when a passer runs out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage due to defensive pressure. This often occurs if the opposing team's defensive line, linebackers or defensive backs are able to apply pass pressure (also called a pass rush) to quickly get past blocking players of the offensive team (the quarterback's protection), or if the quarterback is unable to find an available eligible receiver (including wide receivers, running backs and tight ends) to catch the ball, allowing the defense a longer opportunity to tackle the quarterback. Marcus Allen
Marcus LeMarr Allen (born March 26, 1960) is an American former professional football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 16 seasons, primarily with the Los Angeles Raiders. Considered one of the greatest goal line and short-yard runners in NFL history, he was selected 10th overall by the Raiders in the 1982 NFL draft, following a successful college football career with the USC Trojans. He was a member of the Raiders for 11 seasons and spent his last five seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. During his professional career, Allen ran for 12,243 yards and caught 587 passes for 5,412 yards.
