Ludmila Savelyeva
Ludmila Mikhailovna Savelyeva (russian: Людмила Михайловна Савельева; born January 24, 1942, in Leningrad) is a Soviet and Russian stage and film actress. She achieved lasting fame in the role of Natasha Rostova in the 1966–68 film ''War and Peace'', which was six years in the making, and gained an Academy Award in the United States. She won a Diploma prize for the role at the 4th Moscow International Film Festival The 4th Moscow International Film Festival was held from 5 to 20 July 1965. Sergei Alexandrovich Solovyov (russian: Серге́й Алекса́ндрович Соловьёв; 25 August 1944 – 13 December 2021) was a Soviet and Russian film director, producer, screenwriter, and actor. In 1993 he was awarded the People's Artist of Russia title. Biography Solovyov first experienced theatrical production as a child at the Theater of Youth Creativity (1957–1962), directed by Matvey Dubrovin. He studied at all-Soviet state Institute of Cinematography, worked in Leningrad TV and Mosfilm studio (1969–1987, film director, writer, producer).
