Lorela Karoshi (born 1996), known professionally as Lorè, is an Albanian singer, songwriter, and composer. Life and career Growing up, Lorè was influenced by the music of Janis Joplin and Otis Redding, which shaped her musical journey. Her first exposure to the stage came on the talent show The Voice of Albania, where she showcased her vocal talents under the mentorship of Elton Deda. In 2014, she represented Albania at the Univision Festival for young artists in Azerbaijan, performing a rendition of “Royals”. Lorè’s recording career began in 2015 with her debut single, "Hungover by a Dream". The following year, she teamed up with DJ Aldo on the track "Don’t Let Me Go". Janis Joplin
Janis Lyn Joplin (January 19, 1943 – October 4, 1970) was an American singer and songwriter. One of the most iconic and successful Rock music, rock performers of her era, she was noted for her powerful mezzo-soprano vocals and her "electric" stage presence. In 1967, Joplin rose to prominence following an appearance at the Monterey Pop Festival, where she was the lead singer of the then little-known San Francisco psychedelic rock band Big Brother and the Holding Company. Otis Ray Redding Jr. (September 9, 1941 – December 10, 1967) was an American singer and songwriter. He is regarded as one of the greatest singers in the history of American popular music and a seminal artist in soul music and rhythm and blues. Nicknamed the " King of Soul", Redding's style of singing drew inspiration from the gospel music that preceded the genre. His vocal style influenced many other soul artists of the 1960s. Redding was born in Dawson, Georgia, and his family soon moved to Macon. ''The Voice of Albania'' is an Albanian television reality singing competition created by John de Mol Jr. and is part of ''The Voice'' franchise. It began airing on Top Channel on October 21, 2011. Top Channel ended the show, because they began the second season of the Kids version, which started airing on January 19, 2018. Broadcast every year since its inauguration in 1962, the festival has determined the country's representative to the Eurovision Song Contest since 2004. Various singing presentations have been used throughout its history, beginning with radio-only performances in the first few years, then expanding to live performances, playback, remakes, and duets featuring other singers.
