Kurt Mosbakk
Kurt Mosbakk (born 21 November 1934) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He was Minister of Trade and Shipping from 1986 to 1987, when the ministry was closed; he continued on as the Minister of Trade and Shipping Affairs at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs until June 1988. He served as the acting County Governor of Finnmark county for about five months during 1990. Personal life He was born on 21 November 1934 in the municipality of Orkdal in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. He was the son of a joiner and a housewife, Henrik and Jenny Marthea Mosbakk. Education and career Mosbakk took his primary and secondary education in Orkanger and Trondheim respectively, before taking higher education at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration from 1955 to 1958 and Harvard University from 1965 to 1966. Orkdal
Orkdal is a former municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 2020 when it joined Orkland Municipality. It was part of the Orkdalen region. The administrative centre of the municipality was the city of Orkanger. Some of the notable villages in the municipality included Kjøra, Geitastrand, Gjølme, Thamshavn, Fannrem, Vormstad, Svorkmo, and Hoston. Agriculture plays a significant role in the municipality. The Thamshavnbanen was used to transport ore from Løkken Verk to the port of Thamshavn, and is now a vintage railway. The Fannrem concentration camp was located in Fannrem during World War II. Akershus
Akershus () is a traditional region and current electoral district in Norway, with Oslo as its main city and traditional capital. It is named after the Akershus Fortress in Oslo. Lørenskog
is a municipality in Akershus in Viken county, Norway. A suburb of Oslo, it is part of the Oslo urban area and the traditional region of Romerike. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Lørenskog. Lørenskog was separated from the municipality of Skedsmo on 1 January 1908. Ola Teigen (11 February 1937 – 28 July 1970) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He was born in Ankenes. Orkanger
Orkanger is a town and the administrative centre of Orkland municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The town is also a former municipality which existed from 1920 until 1963. The town sits at the end of the Orkdal Fjord, an arm of the Trondheimsfjord. Orkanger is the commercial centre of the municipality of Orkland and it is the site of the Orkanger Church.
