Kaguya-hime
is a (fictional prose narrative) containing elements of Japanese folklore. is a 2013 Japanese animated historical fantasy film co-written for the screen and directed by Isao Takahata, based on '' The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter'', a 10th century Japanese literary tale. A is a form of Classical Chinese used in Japan from the Nara period to the mid-20th century. Much of Japanese literature was written in this style and it was the general writing style for official and intellectual works throughout the period. In entertainment, an origin story is an account or backstory revealing how a Character (arts), character or group of people become a protagonist or antagonist, and it adds to the overall interest and complexity of a narrative, often giving reasons for their intentions. In American comic books, it also refers to how characters gained their Superpower (ability), superpowers and/or the circumstances under which they became superheroes or supervillains.
