Jovan Šarčević (Serbian Cyrillic: Јован Шарчевић; January 7, 1966 – November 26, 2015) was a Serbian football player. He died on November 26, 2015, in Kuwait City. He later played for FC Seoul (then known as the LG Cheetahs) of the South Korean K League between 1994 and 1995, making a total of 35 appearances in all competitions. He had a trial with Pusan I'cons at the end of 1999, but failed to join the club. Zrenjanin ( sr-Cyrl, Зрењанин, ; hu, Nagybecskerek; ro, Becicherecu Mare; sk, Zreňanin; german: Großbetschkerek) is a city and the administrative center of the Central Banat District in the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. The city urban area has a population of 76,511 inhabitants, while the city administrative area has 123,362 inhabitants (2011 census data). The old name for Zrenjanin is Veliki Bečkerek or ''Nagybecskerek'' as it was known under Austria-Hungary up until 1918.
