Jersey J-Cup
The Jersey J Cup, also known as the Chris Candido Memorial J-Cup Tournament, is an annual professional wrestling tournament held by Funkdafied Wrestling Federation (FwF), typically between April and June. Modeled after the Super J-Cup by New Japan Pro-Wrestling, it is the second-oldest tournament in United States after the East Coast Wrestling Association's Super 8 Tournament. The wrestlers in the tournament are typically junior heavyweight wrestlers from independent promotions all over North America. The tournament has been hosted by New Jersey-based Jersey Championship Wrestling (2000-2004), National Wrestling Superstars (2005-2012) and Funkdafied Wrestling Federation (2013- ). These promotions have held a combined 11 J-Cup tournaments. No wrestler has ever won the tournament twice, however, a number of participants have entered the tournament multiple times. (NJPW) is a Puroresu, Japanese professional wrestling Professional wrestling promotion, promotion based in Nakano, Tokyo. Jersey All Pro Wrestling
Jersey All Pro Wrestling (JAPW) was an independent wrestling promotion based in New Jersey, United States. History 1997 Jersey All Pro Wrestling was an independent wrestling promotion that was founded by "Fat" Frank Iadeavia and Angel Surita on April 19, 1997. This promotion was born out of a dream of "Fat" Frank and Angel. They wanted to take the promotion in a different direction than others. "Fat" Frank and Angel took a group of misfit wrestlers who were not used in other promotion for various reasons and booked them in a show on that night under the promotion name. During 1997, only two shows were run, Northern States Wrestling Alliance a precursor to JAPW, the wrestlers were friends who were not getting booked in other wrestling shows due to the politics in the New Jersey wrestling scene at that time. CyberSpace Wrestling Federation
NWA Shockwave (NWA-SW, formerly known as CyberSpace Wrestling Federation and NWA: Cyberspace) was a professional wrestling promotion that was founded by Billy Firehawk in Staten Island, New York in 2001, and later relocated to Wayne, New Jersey. It was the earliest promotion to bring in major stars to Central New Jersey, many being seen in live events for the first time, and attracted a loyal following for its traditional " family friendly" style of wrestling. It was the single major promotion of this type to run New Jersey, other rival promotions favoring hardcore-style wrestling, and was at one time considered the top promotion in the region along with Jersey All Pro Wrestling. Paramus High School is an American four-year comprehensive public high school, located in Paramus, in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades as the lone secondary school of the Paramus Public Schools. Rhett Titus
Everett Lawrence Titus (born September 15, 1987) is an American professional wrestler working for Ring of Honor (ROH). where he is a former ROH World Television Champion, an overall two-time ROH Tag Team Champion individually, as well as winning the now-defunct Top of the Class Trophy once. Raised in Lacey Township, New Jersey, Titus played prep football at Lacey Township High School, graduating in 2005. A student of the ROH Wrestling Academy, Titus had worked for various independent promotions early in his career before settling in at ROH. Professional wrestling career Training Titus began training at the ROH Wrestling Academy with Austin Aries at the age of 17, and was later trained by Bryan Danielson at the Academy. He was one of only two people in his class, the other being Mitch Franklin.
