Joakim Sandell
Joakim Reinhold Sandell (born 1975) is a Swedish politician, journalist and member of the Riksdag, the national legislature. A member of the Social Democratic Party, he has represented Malmö Municipality since September 2018. Sandell is the son of mason Bengt-Göran Sandell and crown inspector Ingerd Sandell (née Eklundh). He was educated in Växjö. He studied at Linnaeus University, Lund University and Malmö University. He was a teacher in Ystad. Ystad
Ystad (; older da, Ysted) is a town and the seat of Ystad Municipality, in Scania County, Sweden. Ystad had 18,350 inhabitants in 2010. The settlement dates from the 11th century and has become a busy ferryport, local administrative centre, and tourist attraction. The detective series ''Wallander'', created by Henning Mankell, is set primarily in Ystad. In 1285, the town's name was written ''Ystath''. Its original meaning is not fully understood, but the ''y'' probably is related to an old word for the yew tree, while ''stad'' means ''town'' or ''place''. Scania Regional Council
Region Scania is the regional council of Scania County in Sweden. Scania County was formed on January 1, 1999, by the amalgamation of the county councils of Malmöhus County and Kristianstad County and some of the tasks handled by Malmö Municipality. The regional council assembly is the highest political body in the region and its members are elected by the population of Scania County, as opposed to the County Administrative Board (''länsstyrelsen'') which guards the interests of the state in the region under the chairmanship of the county governor.
