Jim Piwowarczyk
James M. "Jim" Piwowarczyk II (born 1970) is an American realtor, Republican politician, and former law enforcement officer from Washington County, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, and represents Wisconsin's 98th Assembly district in the 2025–2026 term. He is also a co-founder and editor of the conservative news website Biography Jim Piwowarczyk was born in West Bend, Wisconsin, about 1970. He was raised and educated in the West Bend area, graduating from Kewaskum High School in 1988. He went on to attend Moraine Park Technical College and Marian University, studying police science and justice administration. In 1994, he was hired as a police patrol officer in Glendale, Wisconsin, and served 15 years in that department, rising to the rank of patrol sergeant. Wisconsin's 98th Assembly District
The 98th Assembly district of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in southeastern Wisconsin, the district comprises part of northern Waukesha County and the southeast corner of Washington County. It includes most of the city of Hartford along with the villages of Sussex and Merton. The district also contains the Pike Lake State Park. The district is represented by Republican Jim Piwowarczyk, since January 2025. 2024 Wisconsin State Assembly Election
The 2024 Wisconsin State Assembly election was held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, alongside 2024 Wisconsin Senate election, elections for the State Senate. All 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly were up for election. The primary election was held on August 13, 2024. The filing deadline to appear on the ballot was June 3, 2024. Prior to the election, 64 Assembly seats were held by Republicans, 34 seats were held by Democrats, with one seat, formerly held by a Democrat, vacant. The race for chamber control was considered far more competitive in this cycle than at any point in the past decade.
