Holly Clyburn
Holly Clyburn (born 7 February 1991) is an English professional golfer who currently plays on the Ladies European Tour. She was a member of the victorious 2012 Great Britain and Ireland Curtis Cup team and won her first professional tournament at the Deloitte Ladies Open in 2013, her rookie year on tour. Amateur career Clyburn was twice a member of the Great Britain and Ireland Curtis Cup team, selected in both 2010 and 2012. At the 2012 event, she won three of her five matches, playing in all sessions and contributing three points to a first victory for GB&I since 1996. She also qualified for the 2012 Women's British Open for the first time finishing tied for 26th, the second highest placed amateur. Clyburn turned professional in October 2012. Grimsby or Great Grimsby is a port town and the administrative centre of North East Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire, England. Rebecca Artis (born 21 November 1988) is an Australian professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour. Professional career Artis turned professional in 2010 having played in the 2009 Ricoh Women's British Open as an amateur. Artis has played on the Ladies European Tour since turning professional and won her first professional event at the 2013 Helsingborg Open in Sweden. Her second professional win came at the 2015 Ladies Scottish Open at Dundonald Links in 2015, Artis shot a final round 66 to win by two strokes, having trailed Suzann Pettersen by 6 strokes going into the final round. 2012 Curtis Cup
The 37th Curtis Cup Match was played from 8 to 10 June 2012 at Nairn Golf Club in Nairn, Scotland. Great Britain and Ireland won 10 to 9. Format The contest was a three-day competition, with three foursomes and three fourball matches on each of the first two days, and eight singles matches on the final day, a total of 20 points. Each of the 20 matches is worth one point in the larger team competition. If a match is all square after the 18th hole extra holes are not played. Rather, each side earns a point toward their team total. The team that accumulates at least 10 points wins the competition. In the event of a tie, the current holder retains the Cup. European Ladies' Team Championship
The European Ladies' Team Championship is a European amateur team golf championship for women organised by the European Golf Association. The inaugural event was held in 1959. It was played in odd-numbered years from 1959 to 2007 and has been played annually since 2008 (with the exception of 2012). Format Currently, the championship is contested by up to 20 teams, each of 6 players. The format consists of two rounds of strokeplay, out of which the five lowest scores from each team's six players will count each day. The total addition of the five lowest scores will constitute the team's score and determine the teams qualified for the last three rounds of matchplay. The LET Access Series is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in Europe and is the official developmental tour of the Ladies European Tour. 2020 ALPG Tour
The WPGA Tour of Australasia, formerly known as the ALPG Tour, is a professional golf tour for women which is based in Australia. WPGA stands for Women's Professional Golfers' Association. The tour was founded as the Ladies Professional Golf Association of Australia (LPGAA) in 1972 by Alan Gillott, who also later on founded ''The Golfer'' newspaper, a free publication provided to golfers and golf clubs, Australia-wide. The LPGAA switched to ALPG Tour in 1991. The first events featured twelve competitors, and the early years were a struggle. However the long-term trend was of gradual expansion and by 2004 there were over 150 members. The season features about a dozen tournaments, usually played over the Australian summer between November and March. The ANZ Ladies Masters and MFS Women's Australian Open have long been the leading events on the tour, with both being co-sanctioned with the more prestigious Ladies European Tour (LET) which helps attract a higher quality field.
