Siddalingaiah
Siddalingaiah (15 December 1936 – 12 March 2015) was an Indian film director, scriptwriter and producer who worked mainly in the Kannada films. He was well known for his distinct film-making style, and the industry knew him as a master of social themes and rural subject matter. He was one of the most commercially successful directors in the Kannada industry. He began his film career in 1964 as a director with ''Mayor Muthanna'' (1969). In a career that spanned 30 years, he directed over 20 films. His most well-known films usually starred matinee idol Rajkumar. They have collaborated 7 times. Bommasandra Srinivasaiah Suryanarayana Murthy (16 March 1933 – 26 December 1985), known by his screen name Udaykumar, was an Indian actor and producer in Kannada cinema. He, along with Kalyan Kumar and Rajkumar, were called the ''Kumarathrayaru'' (meaning the three Kumars) of Kannada cinema He has authored many dramas and books. He has performed a broad range of roles and worked with all of the prominent actors of his day. He portrayed heroic characters early in his career later it became more nuanced villainous characters, often counterpointing Rajkumar’s heroic persona in historicals and mythologicals. C. H. Loknath (14 August 1927 – 31 December 2018) was an Indian actor with more than 1000 Kannada plays and 650 films to his credit. Loknath is affectionately known as "Uncle Loknath" or "Uppinakayi" in the industry. His last performance was in a Star Suvarna Channel's TV series titled ''Priyadarshini''. Shashikala Saigal (née Jawalkar; 4 August 1932 – 4 April 2021), better known by her first name, was an Indian film and television actress, who played supporting roles in hundreds of Bollywood films beginning in the 1940s. Sathyabhama (actress)
Sathyabhama is an Indian actress in the Kannada film industry. Her films include ''Golmaal Radhakrishna'' (1990), ''Bandhana'' (1984), and '' Nanjundi Kalyana'' (1989). Career Before became an actress in films, she acted in Kannada theatre. She is the daughter of P. Kalinga Rao's nephew. In her 25 years of theatre career, she was widely recognized for her role ''Rani Chennamma'' in the drama ''Veera Rani Chennamma''. After watching her performance in the drama, director S. A ''raga'' or ''raag'' (; also ''raaga'' or ''ragam''; ) is a melodic framework for improvisation in Indian classical music akin to a melodic mode. The ''rāga'' is a unique and central feature of the classical Indian music tradition, and as a result has no direct translation to concepts in classical European music.
