Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf
Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf (Urdu: ; 1945, Jaipur, India – 12 July 2020, Lahore, Pakistan) was Pakistani Islamic scholar, Qur'anic commentator, author, researcher, commentator and was former editor-in-chief of Al-Aitisam Weekly (a Pakistani weekly magazine) for twenty four years. He was the head of Darussalam's Research Division department in Lahore. Early life Salahuddin Yusuf was born in 1945 in Jaipur, India to a religious family. In 1949, his family moved to Pakistan's Hyderabad after the partition of India then shifted to Karachi. Works Salahuddin Yusuf has translated and written several books including Quranic Tafseer in Urdu, Arabic and English. The Meadows Of The Righteous
''Riyad as-Salihin'' or ''The Meadows of the Righteous'', also referred to as ''The Gardens of the Righteous'' (Arabic: رياض الصالحين ''Riyāḍ aṣ-Ṣāliḥīn''), is a compilation of verses from the Quran supplemented by hadith narratives written by Al-Nawawi from Damascus (1233–1277). The hadith by al-Nawawī belongs to the category of canonical Arabic collections of Islamic morals, acts of worship, and manners, which are attributed to Muhammad by Muslim scholars but not found in the Quran. The book is widely accepted to the modern Salafi scholars. Besides, Tablighi Jamaat suggests reading the book to their Arabic speaking communities instead of Fazail-e-Amal written by Zakariya Kandhlawi although it has been translated into many languages. Muhammad Junagarhi
Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Junagarhi (also known as Muhammad Junagarhi; 1890-1941) was a British Indian Islamic scholar, muhaddith, author and translator, who co-founded the All-India Ahl-i Hadith Conference, and served as the president of All-India Ahl-i Hadith Conference. He translated Ibn Qayyim's ''I'laam ul Muwaqqi'een 'an Rabb il 'Aalameen'' and Ibn Kathir's exegesis of the Quran into Urdu language.'' Biography Muhammad Junagarhi was born in 1890 in the state of Junagadh to Ibrahim and belonged to Memon ethnic group. He was thus known as Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Junagarhi. He completed his early education from the town and later moved to Delhi for higher education. In Delhi, he studied at the Madrasa Aminia. He discontinued his studies at the Aminia and went to Madrasa Darul Kitaba wa- al-Sunnah of Abdul Wahhab Multani, from where he graduated.
