Linkou District
Linkou District () is a district in the northwestern part of New Taipei City in northern Taiwan. The name "Linkou" translates to "forest mouth"; in fact, for much of its history, Linkou remained a relatively rural and undeveloped district. This has recently begun to change: Since the latter half of the 2010s, Linkou has been undergoing a period of rapid population growth and land development relative to other nearby districts. New Taipei City is a special municipality located in northern Taiwan. Liu Ping-wei
Liu Ping-wei (; 30 November 1952 – 21 April 2020) was a Taiwanese politician. He was first elected to the Taiwan Provincial Assembly in 1981 and served continuously until 1998. Liu assumed the speakership of the provincial assembly between 1994 and 1998, and sat for a single term in the Legislative Yuan from 1999 to 2002. Personal life and education Liu Ping-wei was born in 1952, the eldest son of real estate investor and Banqiao mayor Liu Shun-tien. Liu Ping-wei attended the Hsing Wu School of Business. His family owned the Hai Shan Group, founded by the elder Liu. Danson Tang () is a Taiwanese model, actor and singer, who started his career as a commercial model before pursuing an acting career and later singing. He was previously under management to Gala Television for his acting projects and Avex Taiwan for his music career.
