National Chengchi University
National Chengchi University () is a public research university in Taipei, Taiwan. First established in Nanjing in 1927, the university was subsequently reestablished in 1954 in Taiwan as the first reestablished "National University". The university, abbreviated as NCCU, specializes in arts and humanities, mass media, linguistics and literature, social sciences, economics, management, politics, and international affairs. It is the only publicly-funded university in Taiwan to provide courses in advertising, diplomacy, and several languages that are not taught at other institutions in Taiwan. Beitou District
Beitou District is the northernmost of the twelve districts of Taipei City, Taiwan. The historical spelling of the district is Peitou. The name originates from the Ketagalan word ''Kipatauw'', meaning witch. Beitou is the most mountainous and highest of Taipei's districts, encompassing a meadow with rivers running through the valley which have abundant steam rising from them; the result of geothermal warming. The valley is often surrounded by mist shrouding the trees and grass. Beitou is famous for its hot springs. National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University
National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) is a public research university in Taipei and Hsinchu, Taiwan. It was created in 2021 through the merger of National Chiao Tung University and National Yang-Ming University. At present, there are 19 colleges, 74 university/college level research centers, and 1 hospital in Yilan. NYCU is one of six national universities in research selected by the Ministry of Education. The university is also one of four universities selected by the Ministry of Education to participate in the Global Taiwan Program. Hsinchu
Hsinchu (, ), officially Hsinchu City, is a city located in northwestern Taiwan. It is the most populous city in Taiwan that is not a special municipality, with estimated 450,655 inhabitants. Hsinchu is a coastal city bordering the Taiwan Strait to the west, Hsinchu County to the north and east, and Miaoli County to the south. Hsinchu is nicknamed the ''Windy City'' for its strong northeastern monsoon during the autumn and winter seasons. National Tsing Hua University
National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) is a public research university in Hsinchu, Taiwan. It was first founded in Beijing. After the Chinese Civil War, president Mei Yiqi and other academics relocated with the retreating Nationalist government to Taiwan, where they reestablished National Tsing Hua University in 1956. The university remains independent and distinct from Tsinghua University in Beijing. Daan District (or Da-an District, Da'an, United States National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency District) is an important political, educational, commercial, residential and cultural district of Taipei, Taiwan. Lingya District () is a District (Taiwan), district of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The 85 Sky Tower and the Kaohsiung City Government, Kaohsiung City Hall are located here. Lingya District is the administrative center of Kaohsiung City along with Fongshan District. Its population is around 163,850 as of October 2023.
