Grace Stratton
Grace Stratton (born 1999) is a New Zealand blogger and fashion entrepreneur. In 2019 she received a New Zealand Youth Award for Innovation. Biography Stratton was born in Auckland in 1999 with spastic diplegia cerebral palsy. She grew up in Warkworth, Northland, New Zealand. In 2015 Stratton began writing a blog, and in 2017 she was nominated for the Young Leader award at the New Zealand Women of Influence Awards. In 2017 Stratton launched All is for All, an accessible fashion online shopping platform focused on the needs of disabled people. The garments featured on the site are listed with detailed information about zips, buttons, fabric and lengths to make choosing clothes easier. Stratton also founded a modelling agency for models with accessibility needs. In 2019 Stratton received a New Zealand Youth Award for Innovation. Spastic Diplegia
Spastic diplegia is a form of cerebral palsy (CP) that is a chronic neuromuscular condition of hypertonia and spasticity—manifested as an especially high and constant "tightness" or "stiffness"—in the muscles of the lower extremities of the human body, usually those of the legs, hips and pelvis. Warkworth, New Zealand
Warkworth ( Māori: ''Mahurangi'') is a town on the Northland Peninsula in the upper North Island of New Zealand. It is in the northern part of the Auckland Region. It is located on State Highway 1, north of Auckland and south of Whangārei, and is at the head of Mahurangi Harbour. The New Zealand Women of Influence Awards are an annual set of awards which recognise women who make a difference to everyday New Zealanders' lives. The Awards were first made in 2013 and were initially sponsored by Westpac Bank. In 2016, Stuff NZ became a joint sponsor. Nominations are invited from the public. A panel selects finalists in each category, who are invited to an awards dinner at the Aotea Centre in Auckland where the recipients are announced. In 2021 the awards dinner was not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
