Gennaro Licciardi
Gennaro Licciardi (Secondigliano, 30 November 1956 – Voghera, 3 August 1994) was a powerful Italian Camorrista in the north region of Naples, founder of the Licciardi clan, and one of the founders of the Secondigliano Alliance. Biography Licciardi, known as 'a scigna (the monkey) for his escapes from the balconies of the apartments in Secondigliano, started his criminal career in the 1970s, when the violent war between the Nuova Famiglia and the Nuova Camorra Organizzata was at its peak. In that time, Licciardi was the capozona of the Giuliano clan in the Secondigliano zone. In 1981, he ended up in jail together with his friend Gennaro Esposito, on charges of Camorra association, murder contest, illegal possession of weapons and shoot in a public place. Secondigliano
Secondigliano () is an old Italian municipality which became a modern suburb in the north of Naples. Geography Secondigliano lies between San Pietro a Patierno and Scampìa. History The name may derive from a contraction of "secondo" (second) and "miglio" (mile) since the area was at the second milestone on the ancient road to Capua. Alternatively, the name may derive from the Roman family name "Secondili." The area was a feudal holding in the Middle Ages and was not part of the city of Naples until the Fascist period. Giuliano Clan
The Giuliano clan was a powerful Neapolitan Camorra clan that had its base in the area of Forcella, in Naples. Its sphere of influence extended to all the centre of the city of Naples for over four decades. He is the founder and head of the Contini clan, a Camorra clan with its central base in the Arenaccia, that also operates in the Poggioreale, Vasto, Mercato and San Carlo all'Arena suburbs of Naples.
