Fundación PUPI
The Fundación P.U.P.I. () is an Argentine nonprofit organization which provides aid to poor and disadvantaged children. The foundation is predominantly localized in the Buenos Aires Province, particularly in townships where the majority of the population live below the poverty line. It is recognized by the government and collaborates with corporate sponsors, other charities and local football clubs. History Fundación P.U.P.I. was founded in 2001 by now retired football player Javier Zanetti and his wife Paula. The name P.U.P.I. derives from Zanetti's nickname, which is ''El Pupi'', but it is also a backronym for ''Por un piberío integrado'' (English: For an integrated childhood). Javier Zanetti
Javier Adelmar Zanetti (, ; born 10 August 1973) is an Argentine former professional footballer. Regarded as one of the greatest right-backs of all time, Zanetti is well known for having dedicated almost his entire career at Inter Milan, having a key role in the treble-winning 2009–10 season. Zanetti was known for his versatility as well as his adeptness on both the left and right wing, having played mostly as a full-back or wing-back on both flanks, but also spending considerable time as a midfielder. Remedios De Escalada
Remedios de Escalada is a city located in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, within Lanús Partido, Gran Buenos Aires. It covers an area of 9.95 km2 and the population was 81,465 in 2001; the demonym for its inhabitants is "escaladense." History The town was first established by Agustín Eguren as ''Edén Argentino'' ("Argentine Eden"), a bedroom community, in 1873.
