Fatty And George
Fatty and George is an Australian children's sci-fi television series from 1981 produced by the Tasmanian Film Corporation for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. The series consisted of 10 episodes of 25-minute duration. The series follows the adventures of a brother and sister as they try to discover the whereabouts of their scientist father, whilst being pursued by an evil woman and her henchman. Synopsis Fatty and his sister George are two ordinary kids whose scientist father is experimenting with time travel. One day things go very wrong and he becomes trapped in a limbo-like dimension. Worse still, the rod-like crystal at the heart of his experiment is sought after by the wealthy and evil Nancy, who ruthlessly pursues the siblings in order to possess it. The crystal has the power to freeze time around the bearer, thus the consequences of it falling into the wrong hands could be potentially devastating. John Patterson (screenwriter)
John Carne Patterson (1949 – February 2016) was an Australian screenwriter, lyricist, playwright and children's author. He is known for co-creating the Australian children's television series Johnson and Friends, with Ian Munro (director) and Ron Saunders (producer). Munro and Patterson also co-created Boffins and Patterson has written for other children's series including Fatty and George, Escape from Jupiter, the 1990s version of The Toothbrush Family, New MacDonald's Farm and Toybox. He also co-wrote the successful Australian drama film Annie's Coming Out. As a children's author John Patterson wrote several books based on the Johnson and Friends series. Pamela Ann Davy
Pamela Ann Davy (7 September 1933 – 3 June 2018) was an Australian actress, best known for her roles on British television during the 1960s. After graduating from RADA in 1960, and after early repertory experience, she appeared in many popular TV shows of the day. She married racing car driver Geoffrey Lyndon Archer in 1971, and lived latterly in suburban Hobart, Tasmania, Australia until her death on 3 June 2018, aged 84. Bonza Aviation Pty Ltd, operating as Bonza, was a short-lived Australian low-cost airline, headquartered on the Sunshine Coast. Founded in October 2021, Bonza commenced operations on 31 January 2023.
