British GT Championship
The British GT Championship is a sports car racing series based predominantly in the United Kingdom. The series was originally created by the British Racing Drivers' Club in 1993 and, for its first two seasons, was known as the National Sports GT Challenge. The series is currently run by the SRO Motorsports Group, while Pirelli began its first season as the championship's official sole tyre supplier in 2016. Two classes currently compete in the championship: GT3 and GT4. A consolidation of GT regulations and significant manufacturer support saw British GT first introduce a GT3 class in 2005. The category later mirrored FIA Group GT3 and used near-identical regulations to the FIA GT3 European Championship from 2006 onwards. GT3 rules include extensive balance of performance and handicap weights to make cars artificially more equal. 2025 IMSA Ford Mustang Challenge
The 2025 IMSA Ford Mustang Challenge is the second season of the IMSA Ford Mustang Challenge. It began on March 12 at Sebring International Raceway and will end on October 5 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Schedule The Schedule was announced August 2, 2024, featuring 12 races over 6 double header events. In a change to the 2024 season, rounds at Sebring, Laguna Seca, Virginia International Raceway and the Charlotte Motor Speedway (Roval) were added, while rounds at Mid-Ohio and Watkins Glen were dropped. In addition to the regular season races, the 2025 season will also include an invitational round supporting the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans. Brainerd International Raceway is a road course, and dragstrip racing complex northwest of the city of Brainerd, Minnesota. The complex has a dragstrip, and overlapping and road courses. The complex also includes a kart track. The raceway hosts the National Hot Rod Association's Lucas Oil Nationals. It is a popular racetrack for the Trans Am Series. Road America is a motorsport Road racing, road course located near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on Wisconsin Highway 67. Road Atlanta (known for sponsorship reasons as Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta) is a road course located just north of Braselton, Georgia, United States. The facility is utilized for a wide variety of events, including professional and amateur sports car and motorcycle races, racing and driving schools, corporate programs and testing for motorsports teams.
