Elsebeth Gerner Nielsen (born 5 January 1960) is a Danish politician. Life Nielsen graduated from Odense University, and was subsequently assigned as education assistant at the university. She was elected member of Folketinget for the Danish Social Liberal Party from 1994 to 2007. Brian Mikkelsen
Brian Arthur Mikkelsen (born 31 January 1966) is CEO of The Danish Chamber of Commerce. He is former Minister and former member of the Conservative People's Party, and was in The Danish Parliament (Folketinget) from 21 September 1994 to 21 June 2018. Mikkelsen was born in Copenhagen as the son of systems consultant Arne Mikkelsen and receptionist Winnie Mikkelsen. The Folketing ( da, Folketinget, ; ), also known as the Parliament of Denmark or the Danish Parliament in English, is the unicameral national legislature (parliament) of the Kingdom of Denmark—Denmark proper together with the Faroe Islands and Greenland. Poul Oluf Nyrup Rasmussen (, informally Poul Nyrup, born 15 June 1943) is a retired Danish politician. Rasmussen was Prime Minister of Denmark from 25 January 1993 to 27 November 2001 and President of the Party of European Socialists (PES) from 2004 to 2011. He was the leader of the governing Social Democrats from 1992 to 2002. He was a member of the European Parliament from 2004 to 2009. Rasmussen is a member of the Club of Madrid.
