Edin-Ådahl
Edin-Ådahl were a Swedish CCM band from 1977 to 1994, composed of brothers Bertil and Lasse Edin and Simon and Frank Ådahl. The group was formed on 10 June 1978 when brothers Simon (born 1957) and Frank Ådahl (born 1960) started playing with Gävle brothers Lasse (born 1954) and Bertil Edin (born 1958). The group are best known for their 1990 hit " Som en vind" (). It won the 1990 Melodifestivalen and went on to place sixteenth at the Eurovision Song Contest. The following year, the band placed second in the Melodifestivalen. Simon Ådahl participated in 1995 together with Lasse Edin. Another song, "Revival", rose to No. 3 on Sweden's radio charts. Their English albums had similar production quality when compared to secular albums, but also poor distribution and "lousy lyrics". Sweden was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1990 with the song "", written by Mikael Wendt, and performed by the band Edin-Ådahl. The Swedish participating broadcaster, (SVT), selected its entry through 1990. Before Eurovision 1990 1990 was the contest for selection of the 30th song to represent at the Eurovision Song Contest. It was the 29th time that this method of picking a song had been used. 1,223 songs were submitted to (SVT) for the competition. The final was held in the Rondo in Gothenburg on 9 March 1990, presented by Carin Hjulström and was broadcast on TV2 but not on radio. The show was watched by 5,964,000 people, the biggest recorded audience for the competition (74.1% of Sweden's 1990 population). The Eurovision Song Contest 1990 was the 35th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, held on 5 May 1990 in the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia. Tommy Nilsson
Erik Tommy Nilsson (born 11 March 1960) is a Swedish singer and songwriter. He represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 1989, coming fourth. He is also a member of the rock group Easy Action. Music career In the late 1970s, Nilsson was the singer of the Swedish rock band Horizont. The group released two albums but a French producer, Yves Accary, contacted Nilsson and signed him to a French record company. The singer enjoyed his first big hit in France in 1981 with the song "No Way No How". The single sold one million copies and the album 200 000 copies. ''No Way No How'', his first album, included disco tracks and ballads.
