Sweden was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1990 with the song "", written by Mikael Wendt, and performed by the band Edin-Ådahl. The Swedish participating broadcaster, (SVT), selected its entry through 1990. Before Eurovision 1990 1990 was the contest for selection of the 30th song to represent at the Eurovision Song Contest. It was the 29th time that this method of picking a song had been used. 1,223 songs were submitted to (SVT) for the competition. The final was held in the Rondo in Gothenburg on 9 March 1990, presented by Carin Hjulström and was broadcast on TV2 but not on radio. The show was watched by 5,964,000 people, the biggest recorded audience for the competition (74.1% of Sweden's 1990 population). Handen På Hjärtat
Handen (also known as Haninge Centrum) is a part of Metropolitan Stockholm and the seat of Haninge Municipality (Haninge Kommun) in Stockholm County in eastern Sweden. Anna Sofia Helena Källgren, known as Sofia Källgren (born 17 August 1970, Högsbo, Sweden), is a Swedish singer. Ingela Forsman
Ingela Birgitta "Pling" Forsman (born 26 August 1950 in , Sweden) is a Swedish lyricist in popular music. As a student Forsman attended the Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm. 1981–2009, 33 of her songs have competed in the Swedish Melodifestivalen, three of them winners: '' Bra vibrationer'' (1985), '' Se på mej'' (1995) and '' Kärleken är'' (1998).
