District Coordination Officer
District Coordination Officer (popularly abbreviated as ''DCO'' or now the Deputy Commissioner ''DC'') was the administrative head of the newly formed district and city district governments in Pakistan and a senior officer (BS20/21) belonging from the Provincial ( executive PCS) or Federal government service (PAS) cadre. He supervised the affairs of all the public offices and public facilities in the district or a city district for purposes of integrated development, efficient use of public resources and effective service delivery. Gujrat (Punjabi and ur, ) is a city in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It is the capital of Gujrat District and it is the 21st largest city of Pakistan by population.
