Digi Sport (Romania)
Digi Sport is a Romanian sports television that was launched on 23 July 2009, available only on the Digi TV platform. It is offered as a set of sports channels, called Digi Sport 1, Digi Sport 2, Digi Sport 3 and Digi Sport 4. On 23 November 2018 Digi 4K was launched just for main events. Genre Digi Sport is one of the sports television in Romania. There are a variety of sports competitions such as football, tennis, handball, basketball, volleyball or kickboxing. Digi Sport is also one of the broadcasters of Formula 1 for Romania. Football Liga 1 Digi Sport will show 270 live Liga 1 matches from 2019 to 2024. Digi Communications, also known as RCS & RDS, is a Romanian telecommunication holding company operating in Romania, Hungary, Spain and Italy. Digi was founded by Zoltán Teszári, who is the majority owner, and it is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange since 16 May 2017. In 2019, Digi had a market share of 51% in Romania and the vast majority of its subscribers are connected via fiber, a process which was started in 2006. Claudiu Niculescu
Claudiu Iulian Niculescu (born 23 June 1976) is a Romanian football coach and former striker. He is currently the manager of Liga II side CSC 1599 Șelimbăr. Club career Claudiu Niculescu was born in Slatina and started playing football at the youth club CSȘ Slatina, alongside Ionel Dănciulescu, Ionuț Luțu and Augustin Chiriță, being coached by Ion Pârvulescu. He started his senior career playing at Jiul IELIF Craiova in Divizia B, after which he played for one season for Drobeta-Turnu Severin in Divizia C, returning for the following one season and a half to play in Divizia B at Electroputere Craiova. Colosseum Tournament
The Colosseum Tournament (COLOSSEUM) is a kickboxing, mixed martial arts (MMA) and boxing promotion company based in Romania, which is owned by Gabriel Georgescu. It is one of the largest kickboxing promotions in the country, and takes its name from ''colosseum''. It promoted the first sanctioned professional event in Ploiești, Romania on November 26, 2016, and since its inception can be seen on Digi Sport and on FightBox in over 60 countries. On 30 June 2023, Colosseum Tournament was relaunched on FITE TV after 2017-2019. Ngassam Nana Falemi (born 5 May 1974) is a former footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Born and raised in Romania to a Cameroonian father and a Romanian mother, he capped for the Cameroon national team. International career Nana Falemi played five games at international level for Cameroon, making his debut under coach Winfried Schäfer on 27 March 2003 when he came as a substitute and replaced Bill Tchato in a friendly which ended with a 2–0 victory against Madagascar. Florin Daniel Bratu (born 2 January 1980) is a Romanian football coach and former player, who played as forward. Club career Bratu began his career with Rapid Bucharest, but shortly after joining the first team, he was loaned to Tractorul Brașov in 2000. At Tractorul he scored eight goals in 27 Divizia B games, before returning to Rapid Bucharest. In the 2002–03 season he won the Divizia A title with Rapid, being the team's top-goalscorer with 11 goals. Helmut Robert Duckadam (; born 1 April 1959) is a Romanian retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He was dubbed "the Hero of Seville" due to his performance in the 1986 European Cup Final, won by his club Steaua București, where he saved all four penalties against Barcelona in the penalty shootout, for the first time in football history. He represented three other teams in a 14-year senior career. Duckadam regularly appears as a studio guest on Digi Sport's "Fotbal Club" programme. Ilie Dumitrescu (; born 6 January 1969) is a Romanian football manager and former professional footballer. As a player, he was a winger who notably played in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United, and in La Liga with Sevilla. He began and finished his career with Steaua București, had spells in Mexico with América and Atlante and had a brief loan spell with Olt Scorniceşti during the early stages of his career.
