Daryl Copeland
Daryl Copeland is a Canadian analyst, author, speaker and educator specializing in diplomacy, international policy, public management and global issues. Copeland's institutional affiliations include the University of Toronto's Munk Centre for International Studies as a senior fellow, and the USC Center on Public Diplomacy as a research fellow. Career Copeland grew up in downtown Toronto, and received his formal education at the University of Western Ontario (gold medal, political science; chancellor's prize, social sciences) and the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (Canada Council Special MA Scholarship). From 1981 to 2009, Copeland served as a Canadian diplomat with postings in Thailand, Ethiopia, New Zealand and Malaysia.
