Overview Romanian (or Daco-Romanian), Aromanian, Megleno-Romanian and Istro-Romanian form the Eastern Romance branch of the Romance languages. Dragoš Kalajić ( sr-Cyrl, Драгош Калајић; 22 February 1943 – 22 July 2005) was a Serbian painter, philosopher, art critic, writer and member of the Senate of Republika Srpska. Dragoș Protopopescu (17 October 1892 – 11 April 1948) was a Romanian writer, poet, critic, philosopher, and far-right politician. He is considered by some to be greatest Anglicist from interwar Romania. Early life and education Protopopescu was born in Călărași to Constantin Popescu and Octavia Blebea. After going to school in his native city, he pursued his studies at the Saint Sava High School in Bucharest, and then at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Bucharest. In January 1920, he continued his education at the University of Paris. In March 1920, he enrolled at University College London to attend specialized courses, as part of his thesis requirements. Dragoș Mihalcea () (born December 17, 1977) is a Romanian dancer, a former principal dancer with the Royal Swedish Ballet. Mihalcea was born in Bucharest, Romania, and studied ballet at the urging of his parents. At the age of 14 he received a full scholarship from the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, DC. Between 1997 and 2000 he performed with the Universal Ballet Company in South Korea where he quickly attained the position of principal dancer.
