Dinamo Bakili Baku
FC Baku (), founded as Dinamo Baku in 1997, was an Azerbaijani football club based in Baku that had been an amateur club since 2016. Prior to that, Baku played 18 seasons in the Azerbaijan Premier League, winning the championship twice and the National Cup three times. The club ceased operations in 2018. History Early years (1997–2004) Led by Shamil Heydarov, Dinamo finished 2nd and entered the 1998–99 UEFA Cup, but was eliminated by Argeş Piteşti 1–7 on aggregate in the preliminary round. In the 1997–98 season, Dinamo appointed Ruslan Abdullayev as their new head coach. Under the management of Abdullayev, the team passed the first part of the tournament well, although 3rd place and 52 points were not enough for medals or European cups, and Dinamo finished the season in 6th place. Gjoko Hadžievski (; born 31 March 1955) is a Macedonian football coach. He coached teams from Bulgaria ( CSKA Sofia, Vihren Sandanski), Greece (Kastoria, Doxa Drama), Azerbaijan ( FC Baku), Japan (Júbilo Iwata), Saudi Arabia ( Najran SC), and North Macedonia. Hafiz Mammadov (; born 2 December 1964 in Nakhchivan, in Azerbaijan) is an Azerbaijani businessman who founded and owns the Baghlan Group. He used to own football clubs FC Baku and RC Lens. Milinko Pantić (Serbian Cyrillic: Милинко Пантић; born 5 September 1966) is a Serbian retired footballer and current manager. Playing career Pantić spent the first six seasons of his professional career with FK Partizan between 1985 and 1991. Aleksandrs Starkovs (born 26 July 1955) is a Latvian football coach and a former footballer who played as a forward. Most recently he coached FK Liepāja. Starkovs has managed clubs such as Spartak Moscow in Russia, FK Baku in Azerbaijan and Skonto FC in Latvia. He had three stints with the Latvia national team.
