Clayton Beddoes
Clayton Beddoes (born November 10, 1970) is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former professional ice hockey centre. He played two seasons in the National Hockey League. He last coached the Italian team HC Bolzano, and has coached the Italian national team at two World Championships. Playing career He spent four years playing college ice hockey at Lake Superior State University between 1990 and 1994, earning All-NCAA Second Team honors along with NCAA's Championship All-Tournament Team and All-CCHA Second Team distinction his senior year. He also served as the Lakers' team captain in his final year at LSSU. Beddoes was signed as a free agent by the Boston Bruins in 1994 and spent the 1994-95 season with the team's AHL affiliate, the Providence Bruins. He played sixty career NHL games between 1995 and 1997, scoring two goals and eight assists for ten points. Centre (ice Hockey)
The centre (or center in the United States) in ice hockey is a forward position of a player whose primary zone of play is the middle of the ice, away from the sideboards. Centres have more flexibility in their positioning and therefore often end up covering more ice surface than any other player. Centres are ideally strong, fast skaters who are able to back-check quickly from deep in the opposing zone. Generally, centres are expected to be gifted passers more so than goal scorers, although there are exceptions - typically larger centres who position themselves directly in front of the net in order to score off rebounds. The Adler Mannheim (English: ''Mannheim Eagles'', formerly Mannheimer ERC) is a professional ice hockey team of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, the highest-level ice hockey league in Germany. Ebel is a Swiss luxury watch company that was founded in 1911 at La Chaux-de-Fonds in the canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Italian Hockey League - Serie A, formerly known as Serie A, is the top tier of professional ice hockey in Italy, which first began play in 1925. They are conducted under the authority of the Federazione Italiana Sport del Ghiaccio (FISG). The league initially merged with the Inter-National League to become the Alps Hockey League in 2016. Frankfurt Lions
The Frankfurt Lions were a German professional men's ice hockey club from Frankfurt, Germany that played in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. The club ceased operations in 2010 due to financial difficulty. History The hockey team was founded as a section of the renowned sports club '' Eintracht Frankfurt'' in 1959. After the section split from the club on March 5, 1991, the hockey team was renamed the Frankfurter ESC "Die Löwen" (meaning ''The Lions''). Doug Mason
Douglas Mason (born August 20, 1955) is a Canadian- Dutch professional ice hockey coach. He has been serving as head coach of the Graz 99ers in Austria since December 2016. His son Steve Mason is a professional ice hockey player. Playing career Born in Sudbury, Ontario, Mason played in the SOJHL, OHA and IHL. Mason made his way to the Netherlands in 1979, signing with the Tilburg Trappers. He played for the team for the rest of his career, which ended in 1988. The Iserlohn Roosters are a professional ice hockey team based in Iserlohn, North Rhine-Westphalia.
